Your questions before ordering
How is my print made?
Your print does not exist before you order. Each copy is made on demand, one at a time, once the order is placed, in the format you chose. Production and shipping times are added on top: it is not an item waiting on a shelf.
Can I give a print as a gift?
Yes. The copy is numbered. Its signed certificate of authenticity, which carries the number, is emailed to you as a PDF when the print is made, and you can print it out to slip in with the gift. The order is delivered to the address you enter at checkout, so it goes straight to the person who receives it. It is made on demand, like any order.
What is the last day to order for delivery before Christmas?
Based on the lead times announced by our printer, you need to order at least 10 days before 24 December. This is an estimate and not a commitment: production is on demand and delivery depends on the carrier.
How many copies of a work exist?
Each work is a limited edition. The number of copies is set before publication, it is firm and final, and it is never increased afterwards. Every print has its own edition number. The number is on the signed certificate of authenticity, which is sent to the buyer by email: one number, one print.
What happens when a work is sold out?
Once the edition cap is reached, the work is no longer available for sale. That cap does not move: it is never increased after publication. You can still look at the work on its page, but you can no longer order it. Copies already sold keep their own number.
Can I withdraw after ordering?
No. Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications. Your prints are made on demand and numbered for each buyer: the order is firm and final as soon as the payment is confirmed.
What is the certificate of authenticity?
It comes with your numbered print. It shows the hash of the work and its Ed25519 signature, made with the brand's private key, the one that never leaves the studio. Anyone can recompute the fingerprint. Nobody can forge the signature.
How do I check that a work is authentic?
The brand's public key (Ed25519, base64) is published on the manifesto. With it, anyone can verify the signature of a certificate, without asking me. On the verification page, paste the hash and the signature of your certificate, and the tool does the maths.
